
David Lee Robie, Ph.D., is an entrepreneur, technology leader, and former Air Force instructor pilot based in San Diego. He has spent his career turning complex science into operational capability for space and national security. As CEO of Bolder Consulting Group, he helps clients build government and industry partnerships and accelerate innovation in missile tracking, AI enabled autonomy, and edge computing.
Previously he served as Chief Operating Officer at Innoflight, where he positioned the company for rapid growth and built the teams and processes that support Space Development Agency programs. At General Atomics he launched and led space and advanced programs that grew to 120 million dollars in annual revenue, secured five major space awards totaling 236 million dollars, and delivered sixteen spacecraft for customers that include NASA, NOAA, the Space Force, and the intelligence community. Earlier in his career he advised Air Combat Command and the Pentagon on directed energy and other advanced systems, building multi agency coalitions that guided significant research investments.
Dr. Robie holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, along with B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University. His technical foundation includes communications, imaging, and resilient systems for real time decision making at the edge.
